Bistro On 130 - Middleburg Heights

First time here 5/19, came in and got seated immediately on a Friday night! Sat down, had water and bread (amazing bread) brought to the table fast. Looked at the menu and wanted pretty much everything. Emma, our server came to the table and was super nice, helpful and gave us some recommendations. One being the chicken marsala, I went with it and typically I would never since I hate mushrooms. Well this entree was top notch. It was actually perfect. My partner got the eggplant lasagna and he thought it was amazing. We are foodies and visit several Italian places everywhere and so far, this is the spot. From Little Italy to far out, this is one of the best! It's always helpful coming to a new place and having a server like Emma who is not only nice but personable and attentive. We will 100% be back since we live 1.5 miles from the restaurant. If you're thinking of coming here, get in your car and get here.

If I could leave less I would. We had a reservation for 6 for a Saturday and called to guarantee it was accurate. When we walked in they didn’t have us on the list. Eventually the hostess went and checked and we were on the books but they didn’t transfer us to their day sheet. When we joked and asked for a free dessert they said they can’t do anything and they are sorry. This is terrible customer service. Never come here to celebrate anything as your reservation means nothing!

The drinks were fantastic the calamari over cooked, so they took of the bill. The chicken special with angel hair pasta with butter was absolutely phenomenal. Tried the Veal Parmigian it was ok. Service was great. Kind of romantic. Salad was good, but bread was cold and butter was hard. 8.0 out of 10.Parking: Great parking 10 out of 10.

Pleasant, courteous, priced friendly and delicious food. Will definitely revisit to try more on the menu.

This little gem of a restaurant is located in a strip mall that you would just pass by. If it were not for a recommendation by my friend's beautician we would have never gone there. The outside is nothing to look at and unfortunately many store fronts are empty. They need better signage like by the street so people know that they are there. Once you go inside the decor is a dark monotone. With black table cloths. My friend doesn't see well so I had to give her the flashlight on my cell phone for her to read the menu. Wish they would have a candle on the tables. Our server was prompt and very attentive and no glass was left half empty before he filled it up. after he took our orders he brought out the salads and a soup. And a basket of hot Italian bread. I could not stop eating the bread! I had the veal Marsala with a rosoto veggies and a salad. The veal was pounded to perfection and the Marsala sauce with the mushrooms were so flavorful I wanted more which the server got for me. My friend had the veal Parmesan with a side of pasta. She said it was excellent and had me taste the pasta red sauce. This was not some spaghetti sauce out of a jar but a sauce that had a depth a flavor that you only get by simmering a sauce all day using bones to give it that rich flavor. My other friend had the chicken picatta with angel hair pasta that is hand made by the chef. He said the chicken was so tender he just needed his fork. Needless to say I will be back.
