Not sure how this hotel got 4 stars, it’s definitely not. Rooms are very old. The hotel needs to be renovated asap. Cleanness was below average. Sticky floor, unclean cutlery. Friendly staff. Average breakfast. Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 3 Hotel highlights: Quiet
Great hotel with very hospitable staff. The room was clean, as were the sanitary facilities. Beds soft but comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were also good. Enough choice. Within walking distance of the center of Middelburg. Quality of the hotel was just good. Parking in a closed parking lot in front of the hotel. Rooms: 5 Service: 5
Rooms: Kamer netjes, wij hadden kamer 112, bij nooduitgang, veel mensen gebruiken dat om naar buiten te gaan helaas, deur knalt dicht, dus niet goed geslapen. Food drinks: Slecht gegeten in het restaurant ,maaltijd salade smaakloos, fletcher hamburger rauw van binnen, prijzen zijn te duur voor wat je krijgt. Staff is not very clear or customer-friendly, they quietly do/discuss business with each other and leave you as a customer waiting. Same attitude also observed towards other customers, making them wait for a long time, without even acknowledging that you are coming to them straight away. Ignoring the customer until you have finished what you are doing is not done. Incomplete and unclear, such as not mentioning the debit amount you are going to withdraw, for example, while you do not know the total amount you will have to pay at the bar for drinks and then receiving a comment that you are not holding the card properly. No, I would first like to hear or see what amount I will be withdrawing. Door to kitchen open and also a lot of noise from it in the restaurant part. A lot of noise from the air conditioning/extraction in the room. After reporting back to the counter after checking into the room, it was indicated that this turns off after 11 p.m. when the kitchen is closed, 'in some rooms this is louder than in other rooms ' was the story. [So don 't take rooms from number 120 onwards! But it was not mentioned that this will start again at 6.30 am. Without noise-cancelling headphones, it was impossible to sleep.
