Panera Bread - Michigan City

Yup, not worth the 18 bucks for half soup and half salad… wow, the extra dollar something for the avocado is about the size of a teaspoon (on the fork). Well, it’s about an hour to close, maybe that’s it. Place was clean though!

Had Spicy take chicken sandwich and Teriyaki chicken- broccoli bowl with Strawberry mint lemonade. Food tasted really good and fresh.

It’s not often that I review a restaurant but it’s usually great or it’s complete garbage. I ordered online a sandwich, took off the sauce and added a couple things. I walked in after the order was “ready” only for them to still be making it. Then they packaged up the order without telling me an item was not in stock. Then I saw employees throwing things at each other and they made my sandwich completely wrong on top of the fact that they only gave me half. I got bread and chicken, that’s it. I love Panera but this location is garbage.

Our entire order was incorrect and took 40 minutes to prepare. After waiting for our food, we noticed several missing items and incorrect dishes, and the customer service we received while trying to resolve the issues was appalling. My Chicken Caesar salad came without chicken or dressing, there were no sides with any of the meals, and the bagels I ordered were toasted but not sliced as requested. I personally can't stand Panera, but my wife loves it, and I'm really hoping this experience puts her off it for good. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place—it was a complete disaster.

It's a cozy and laid-back restaurant, perfect for enjoying a hot bowl or cup of soup while nestled in a corner booth. It's an ideal spot for doing homework, working, or simply catching up with friends.
