Mcginnis Pub - Michigan City

Had lunch there two days ago... Very friendly and attentive service. Good fish and chips, but the shepherd cake was more like a cattle sauce. My main criticism is the background music choice, they played American heavy metal music... I think they should stick with Irish folk music or if they feel a little edgy, there are many Celtic punk rock bands... keep it cultural.

Great bartender and great beer on tap, we had a great time here while at the Great Lakes Gran Prix offshore boat races. Plan to return here in the future.

Short staffed; food fish and chips, corn beef sandwiches) fries were coated with a spice WW didn't care for. subpar; wait staff tried. We were disappointed

The food was excellent, the staff friendly, the atmosphere warm and welcoming.

Great place for authentic Irish cuisine and live Irish music..
