Local Option - Michigan City

The pizza was tasty, but the staff was somewhat unnoticeable. I had to go to the bar to get another drink.

The stuffed pizza is fantastic and quite filling; a large size is 22 inches and can feed about 4-5 people. However, the sandwiches are not quite as impressive. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich for my daughter, and it was quite small—essentially just a piece of chicken on a bun. At $10, it didn’t even come with any sides.

The bar has a great atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich this time, but I plan to try the pizza on my next visit.

What a great place to have pizza. bartender was really sweet. She was busy doing all the space alone. eating did not take long after filling without asking.

Visiting from STL and wanted a good Chicago pizza. Ironically the locals recommended “Local Option” and it didn’t disappoint!! Prices were more than reasonable and it was absolutely delicious.
