Top O' the River - Michie

Me and my Cousins went there for a birthday. The food was great. The service was also great. This was the best food that I have ever eaten.

After looking over the extensive menu, we decided on the build-your-own combo. All meals come with a fantastic cornbread, slaw, and onion appetizer. The catfish was great as well as their fried shrimp and shrimp scampi. The service was good as well. Iwould love to go back soon!

This place depends on when you go and the cook and what you order. With a $5 tip it was a little over $25 for one person. You get a small pan of cornbread with coleslaw as an appetizer and vinegar onions. The first time I got the seafood platter andsplit it with someone. It was really good and we still had leftovers. This time I got the fried shrimp with a baked potato. Itcame with hushpuppies. I was a bit disappointed, especially for the price of the meal. The food definitely isn't plated well.Seems like it should come with more sides or something. There are better seafood places out there.

Our third visit to this Wonderful restaurant in the middle of no where. Just a 20 minute drive from Savannah, Tn. But, on our first visit we thought is it worth driving this far for catfish! YES, this is one of our favorite catfish seafood restaurantsin this area. Love the fresh hot cornbread coleslaw. And the menu has something for everyone. Sometimes you will have to waitfor a table, but it is worth the wait. Shiloh National Military Park is about 15 from Michie, Tn. You will pass 4 other catfishrestaurants along the way. So far Top O the River is our favorite. Give it a try!
