Bidrage med feedbackOld looking place. It's the oldest store in Miami. The food is great. Service is terrible, and cashiers are okay sometimes when they don't miss up in your order or give you the wrong one like what happened last time.
Still the best places in Miami to get authentic Cuban food, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a snack. You can get the freshest fruits and veggies, and a wide selection of foods. We come here regularly to get our Cuban food fix!! Just remember, they don?t have AC, and you have to eat outside (except for the location in Hialeah).
Great place for authentic Cuban food. There were many Spanish speakers and you can say that this place is local. The portions are very good at a great price. The whole fish was on the expensive side($30), but you can definitely stay with the cheap options. The juices and smoothies were fresh and healthy and at a lower price than other places.
We should have read the reviews more carefully, as we thought this was more of a restaurant vs. buffet style take-out. I do not speak a word of Spanish, making it very hard to communicate to many of the vendors. The signs being in Spanish lead to a similar challenge, we had no idea what or how to order food. Eventually after a lot of walking around, pointing and hand gestures we managed to get a few plates to try! The food was very good, very home-cooked. The juice bar was the best part, so fresh and delicious. I wish this experience was a bit easier and less stressful, but we eventually made it!
Hits the spot every time. If you want authentic Cuban food made from Abuela this is your place. Massive portions and the flavors from home. Several locations around Miami, you won?t miss a beat.
