D'oro Caffe - Miami

We ordered fusilli funghi and lasagna both were tasty and he portions are generous! One of the best cupuccino in town as well! Service was fast and will next time come to try their 40% off happy hour.

It?s a very small place in Downtown Miami with a great décor inside, and a lot of street side tables outside. We ordered white wine (which was good), I got the Carpaccio di Salmone and my husband tried the Carpaccio di Bresaola. The Carpaccio di Salmone was ok, but I can?t say the same for the Carpaccio di Bresaola: the meat looked and tasted as if it were too old. The service was also very disappointing. Not knowing that here you have to order first and then sitwherever you want, we went straight to sit at a table inside. We waited for a long time trying and failing to get the attention of the staff, although they were constantly passing by us doing their chores. Finally my husband decided to goto the counter to call somebody, and that?s when we found out about their process. The prices are decent.

What a shame they have such dreadful service here! The food is always great and they have a pretty good happy hour daily. But, after getting our meal, which was delicious, and two glasses of house wine that's where the service stops. We waited for 30 minutes for them to remove our plates, swarming with fruit flies, despite being the only diners in the cafe, and the waitress walking past our table many times. In the end, the flies were so bad I moved all the empty soiledplates to another table. She saw me moving them, told me not to worry about them, then walked away again! Finally, the guy came out and removed them. We tried to make eye contact for an hour to order more wine but to no avail. We probablywould have ordered at least another 2 glasses each. So in the end we told our friends to meet us elsewhere and left having spent less than half we would normally spend at a local cafe. Get your service sorted out and we'll be back.

Very delicious, excellent pasta, friendly and pleasant service. We are so glad we came to this place. We highly recommend it to everyone!

Probably the closest thing to an italian coffee I could find in Miami.
