American Social Brickell - Miami

What’s not to love about this place? This spacious bar is situated along the Miami River, offering stunning views, especially in the evening, and there are plenty of outdoor seating options. However, we chose to sit indoors, as we do every time we visit a new spot. The interior is simple yet welcoming; while it’s not trying to be extravagant, they’ve done a fantastic job with the decor and color scheme. They offer great happy hour deals, and I enjoyed a well-made Old Fashioned. My wife tried an intriguing cocktail called the Fifth and Lavender; it wasn't overly sweet and had a delightful floral aroma. The service was excellent, the vibe was relaxed, and overall, it’s a lovely bar with great cocktails and a fantastic view outside. As I said, what's not to like? We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Miami.

I ordered a lavender drink (I can’t recall its name, but it was delicious!), and just as I was enjoying it, they called us to be seated right away. Our waiter, Nicholas, was fantastic—he welcomed us warmly and was extremely attentive to our needs. We really appreciated his service. Although they were only serving brunch, the food was delightful. My husband tried the breakfast burger, which came with hash browns, bacon, and a fried egg, and he loved it. I opted for the hot chicken muffin sliders, which I highly recommend! We also ordered oysters as an appetizer. I will definitely be returning; I loved the atmosphere, the food was excellent, and the service was truly outstanding. Thank you, Nicholas!

We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant because of its menu and location. The drinks exceeded our expectations, and the ones we ordered had a nice kick to them, which was fantastic. The food itself was good, but there were a few mistakes, like forgetting the chicken in the mac and cheese and not getting some specific requests right with other dishes. While they were reasonably busy, it felt like the service could have been a bit more attentive.

Had a great time to watch the delphine playoff game, fun experience great eating, great service.

Platz was decent. everything sounded better in the menu than it was actually. cool location directly at the river, but I need to think that there are better brunch places close to it.
