Makoto - Miami Beach

I was expecting a little darker ambiance. The clientele was very casual and I was looking for something a little more upscale. The menu is like Zuma but the food didn 't quite measure up. None of that is make or break, but the service was very poor. It took over 10 minutes between asking for a drink and then having to ask the bus staff to find our waitress. We had to ask for her three times. It appeared that she spent most of her time in front of a computer doing orders. The restaurant came very highly recommended and we were disappointed.

Fantastic experience!!!! Recommend it to absolutely everyone. We continue going every time we come to Miami Beach. So far the BEST RESTAURANT IN MIAMI BEACH. CONSISTENCY, SERVICE AND EVERYTHING ELSE

Excellent service , food and ambiance . Loved dining on the terrace. Friendly and professional staff. Food was a 10/10 Lovedddd the salmon truffle appetitizer. Incredible lava cake dessert to finish the evening. Overall amazing experience Can't wait to go back soon !

We had a delicious dinner in the fabulous restaurant! The service was fantastic, accommodating, and on point with their recommendations and friendliness. We will definitely be back!

The restaurant is nice but extremely loud. It is hard to hear the other person at the table. The acoustics are very bad. Our waitress was just ok. It was my birthday and when the reservation was made it was listed and she did not even know. What is the point in putting it down if they do not inform the servers.
