Such an anomaly a classic historic dive bar in the middle of South Beach. I feel so at home here as did Anthony Bourdain when he visited South Beach. Smoking bother you? Go somewhere else.

I absolutely love a great neighborhood bar rich in history (yes I said rich in history), I am Gen X'er after all and we love a regular bar without all the nonsense. THIS place was a highlight of our holiday vacation to Miami Beach this Christmas which we walked to after having dinner at the former Versace Mansion and what a great way to cap off that dinner. There were five of us and we miraculously found five chairs at the bar against the wall and were served by a wonderful female bartender who took great care of us for the roughly two hours we were there. Serving up a nice strong no frills drink, and ensuring we had full waters at all times, the service was exceptional she checked in often and we threw back a few rounds. The decor is wonderful, just soaking in the eclectic, random stuff they had hanging up was cool. They have a pool table, juke box and plenty of people from all backgrounds hanging out and my husband who has never met a stranger left with a few new friends. Yes, they are cash only who cares, just carry some cash. Yes, some people are smoking in there, it adds to the vibe so either light one up if you are buzzed enough or just ignore it (or go somewhere else). It is super clear, this place is a neighborhood jewel and very beloved! We had a blast, thanks for the best Tito's Soda I had all week!
