Joe's Take Away - Miami Beach

Amazing place, food, and service! From the moment you walk in you are greeted and escorted as if it were a high class hotel. The bread basket is fresh and delicious I recommend the biscuit. Since it was our first time, the waiter Sebastian made sure to tell us all about the restaurant and its history as well as some information on the different types of crab they offer. We got the king crab boiled with garlic and the jumbo stone crab chilled. Super fresh, amazing quality, and delicious butter/mustard sauce! We also got the grilled salmon and my boyfriend said it was the best salmon he’s ever had he loves salmon. The sweet potato fries also top notch. Oh and I cannot forget!! The bisque was fantastic and I’ll be thinking about it until I go back again : We didn’t have any room for dessert but hope we do next time! I must say inside is pretty chilly but you get used to it after a while. If you love quality crab and a great time overall come here please!!

This is one of the best restaurants in Miami. I’ve been dining here for years and have never been disappointed. Amazing ambiance, great service and of course, the stone crabs. They offer valet parking and take out if you don’t want to dine in, although I encourage it because it’s such a great dining experience. We had the large stone crab dinner, chowder, seafood tower appetizer, shrimp cocktail and for cocktails their flavored martinis which were amazing. For dessert the lava cake and key lime pie. This place is great and a must in Miami.

The food was of course delicious. The stone crabs are phenomenal. I will give this 4 stars and not 5 because it seemed like they were in a rush to get us out and just do a lot of volume. It took about 2 minutes to get all of our food that we ordered. Now this is usually a good thing but when you go to a place that you are spending a good amount of money and want to go for an occasion or something nice you want the meal to be longer than 30 minutes. I don’t know if I would go here again just because it’s so expensive and you can spend the same amount of money somewhere else and feast like a king.

Best stone crabs in town. Should be tried at least once in a lifetime. A little pricey but totally worth it. Love to accompany my stone crabs with the mustard sauce, garlic creamed spinach and the garlic hashbrowns and to finish their Key Lime pie is the best! Love to splurge in here every time I can. Have being going to the take out since they opened it. I get my favorite dishes without spending as much as in the restaurant and it's very casual. easy going and quicker.

My friends and I made a reservation for a weekday evening, and while the restaurant wasn't overly busy, we did wait a little before being seated. They offered us a choice between indoor and outdoor seating, and we opted for the outdoor area since the weather was lovely. Our waiter was fantastic and gave us great recommendations throughout our meal, and we were treated to some delicious bread as a starter. The mussels and stone crabs are a must-try! We also enjoyed some entertaining additions like lobster mac and cheese and sea scallops. While we ordered spinach and fried chicken as well, they didn't quite leave the same impression as the other dishes. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking this restaurant out!
