Gino’s Bottega Italiana - Miami Beach

Beautiful small place with good pasta in rather small portions for the price. Food and wine menus are limited. Service is sufficient, could be more hospitable.

We walked in, announced name and “Open Table”, a server grunted, “Sit over there”. English not spoken here, and maybe the guy comes from a country that breeds rude people?! I dunno. “Service” wasn’t good and they added 20%, which is where I usually start when deserved. And the jerk didn’t give me OT points! Ha!ha. But don’t go there.

Casio e pepe Pasta was awesome. My husband loved his osso bucco ravioli as well.

Excellent beef carpaccio a main course we split as an appetizer followed by some of the best ravioli I’ve ever eaten. Good wine recommendation and a very good Tiramisu and espresso for dessert. Gino’s is a small restaurant but has outdoor dining to augment their seating. We visited Gino’s several days before visiting last night and that very good experience was the impetus to return. Reservations are a good idea.

Cacio e pepe is my favorite, I also like the ossobuco ravioli, the sauce that comes with it is out of this world. Most dishes I have tried here are absolutely delicious. This restaurant really is a hidden gem. I can’t wait to take my family here.
