Bidrage med feedbackDuring my stay, I dined at the hotel's three restaurants: an Italian restaurant, a traditional restaurant (my personal favorite), and an Asian restaurant by the sea. The buffet offered a wide range of options, including traditional dishes, freshly made pizza, salads, and cooked food. The hotel also offers 24-hour room service. I particularly enjoyed the traditional restaurant called Flamingo, where I tried the vegetable tagine with cinnamon sticks and a special dish prepared just for us. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy, with traditional music playing some evenings. The homemade smoked Harissa with olive oil and freshly baked bread was a standout. At the Italian restaurant, we indulged in a vegan pizza with plenty of garlic and a variety of vegetable toppings. The olives and olive oil, which are locally sourced, were exceptional. The Asian restaurant offered a tasty vegan wok dish with rice noodles in soy sauce, cooked and raw vegetables, and grated ginger. The buffet had a wide selection of dishes and seating areas both indoors and outdoors. I also enjoyed trying the raw almonds in rose water, a local specialty, in the outdoor area. The hotel is conveniently located on the beach, where the weather is almost always sunny. Djerba is a historically rich island with attractions such as the Pink Flamingo Island, which can be visited during certain seasons. I had a fantastic trip and can't wait to return to this beautiful island in the sun.

I particularly enjoyed dining at the traditional restaurant called Flamingo, where we tried the vegetable tagine and a special cous cous dish that we had requested in advance. The flavors were outstanding, and we were treated to live traditional music on some evenings. The homemade smoked harissa served with olive oil and bread was a highlight. The Asian restaurant had a tasty vegan wok dish with rice noodles, veggies, and ginger. The buffet also provided a wide selection of dishes and seating areas both inside and outside. I also had the opportunity to try the local specialty of raw almonds in rose water at the outside bar area, which was delicious. The hotel is conveniently located right in front of the beach, and the weather in Djerba is typically sunny. The island is steeped in history and offers unique experiences like visiting the pink flamingo island during certain seasons. Overall, my stay at the Radisson Palace Hotel on Djerba was unforgettable, and I can't wait to return to this charming and unspoiled island paradise.
This review is about a beautiful hotel on the island of Djerba, Tunisia. The service was friendly and accommodating during my week-long stay. Djerba is the largest island in North Africa and unlike Morocco, it is not commercialized with big chain stores like McDonald's. The island is known for its stunning beaches and palm trees, with hotels being the only commercial presence. I fell in love with the island and the friendly locals. There is also a buffet with a variety of traditional dishes, freshly made pizza, salads, and cooked food available for room service. I particularly enjoyed dining at the traditional restaurant called Flamingo, where we had a special dish made with a cinnamon-infused sweet-shield sauce. The olive oil and olive dishes were excellent, as they were locally sourced from the island. The Asian restaurant had a tasty vegan option with rice noodles, soy sauce, vegetables, and grated ginger.
