Fontana Pizza - Mexicali

Great restaurant. everything is fresh to order. the pasta was amazing and the pizza could rival everything that nyc has to offer. I know pizza!

Tried this place on some recommended by friends and was not disappointed. the restaurant has a good atmosphere to have some drinks while they do not eat like their regular pizza places. the real pizza was great. we tried a simple paprika pizza to taste the sauce and see how the crust tasted and was very impressed for both. the pizza sauce was very good, not too many seasoned, a simple marinara sauce, but the crust was great, crispy where it had to be and not too thick. overall, pizza was a hit while we saw that others tables the pasta dishes and they all looked good. will definitely be back.

Mexicali increases great tasting of Chinese food, but they also knew that they can have a taste of italia right here. fontana is much more than pizza. All pasta dishes are freshly prepared and the salads are to die. my favourite dishes are the Hongos...Marsala (marsala mushrooms) in garlic and white wine and the tomate brushetta. both are served with a healthy help of slightly seasoned garlic bread pieces. when they have a place, the pesto pasta and the handmade ravioli are from this world. all very cheap.

The actual pizza was great. We tried a simple pepperoni pizza, to taste the sauce and see how the crust tasted and were very impressed for both. The Pizza sauce was very good, not too many spices, a simple marinara sauce but the crust was great, crunchy where it needed to be and not too thick. Overall pizza was a hit. While there we saw other tables eat the pasta dishes and they all looked good as well. Will definitely be back.
