Villa Medicis - Metz

Although inhabitant Montigny, my wife and I had never yet crossed the threshold of the medicis villa. Today, shortly before noon six, we stopped before the map and some elements appeared to us out of the ordinary, such as foie gras pasta, poultry liver or whisky cooked.We then entered and were welcomed very warmly by the institution's tenancière. What we have chosen: none of the three dishes mentioned above (it will be for a next time, because we will return!) My wife took the dish of the day and I had a Northica pizza with smoked salmon, fresh cream and capers, quite pleasant. the dish of the day consisted of a cassolette of marine mussels at 11 euros 90, a price well below that practiced in such a famous specialty chain that everyone recognized the sign. the kilo of bivalves prepared just as it is right, having simmered the time it takes in its juice with various herbs and celery, was to say of my wife of the most tasty, in any case much better than the mussels (heated more than cooked, with celery and vegetables simply placed on it) served in the aforementioned igne. The whole thing was accompanied by a little red of the abruzzo that let himself drink without protesting. A friendly experience that we will not be without renewing, especially to taste these tempting atypical recipes of linguine. A remark: an internet page says that this restaurant is permanently closed. That's not true.

Pasta is really delicious we have been delighted with the reception and especially the prices are very affordable we will gladly return it is rare on putting so good pasta

Warm welcome, simple but clean restaurant, the flat pizzas are burned underneath and the filling is loose in a sauce, cooking seems poorly controlled. As the restaurant and almost empty the service is fast, real damage that quality is not.More I asked for a doggy 'bag and I found myself with a pizza packed in a non-food plastic bag with a piece of aluminum below. I'm not going back.

I tested this little restaurant for the first time, a great welcome, tasty and hearty dishes, I strongly recommend it!
