Is this practice in all mercury hotels? Now let's talk about the restaurant O 29. either we didn't have a chance or ? for the aperitif no amuse mouth (we're in a 4 star it seems to me) the rank leader told us that we should have had chips and mini pretzels: the class! We opted for the lorrain menu: Duck paste (the lorrain duck is world-famous) in a jar with a jar of pickles style resto road at the end of the campaign. not obvious to eat in a terrine jar placed on a plate of 20 cmx 10cm!Lorraine nets. I know the side a little hard of the brass, but I didn't know the cows were too. I ordered this dish with a blue baking and brought me a well cooked, hard and rubbery piece. So the rank leader took us back to the dishes because for my wife this meat is immeatable. She chooses a merlu net that revels insipid. my false net comes back to me blue this time on a bed of potatoes made of peacock but really without any taste (of frozen can be or surely). The plate has no presentation, no stamps. for dessert nothing original: a mirabelle ice. The price of this meal is 26 euros. Too expensive for this meal. I think we can eat better in putz for half that price. The chief of the commercial position offered us the aperitifs. really disappointed at this dinner in this 4-star hotel. ....
Staying for one night at mercury, I chose to dine at the hotel's restaurant. even good reception and friendly service. the room is modern with enough space between the tables. I chose a coffee table and it's not very practical and comfortable to eat, installed in these chairs. I'll give you a "normal" table. I used a tuna steak that was on the menu of the day. roasted cooking at my request with its small juice in a verrine and another larger with a cocktail of vegetables. For dessert the "Paris-Brest" with chocolate, excellent. all accompanied by a glass of white alsace wine (sylvaner), perhaps not fresh enough. on the whole, a nice dinner.
Simple and modern decoration, discreet and competent waiter, the correct meal, the addition a little higher than the proposed dish.
Good house. quality cuisine. smiling and pleasant service but should be more aware of the needs of the customer.
We have lunch in this restaurant of the hotel mercury in a modern setting of good tone, reception and friendly service, several formulas of the day between 13 and 23 euros depending on the number of dishes (from 1 to 3 coffee included) , a good cuisine.
