Cafe Paris - Metuchen

I visited the restaurant with a friend and ordered the Quiche Lorraine. What I received was a rubbery mass that was so tough a fork would bounce off of it. It resembled a piece of pizza dough topped with overcooked filling rather than the creamy custard texture that's characteristic of a proper Quiche Lorraine. I expressed my disappointment and was offered the Spinach Quiche instead. That turned out to be a mistake! It was an unappetizing, fibrous version of the first disaster. I sent it back, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the end of my troubles.

That turned out to be a big mistake, as it was an even more inedible, tough version of the first disaster. I sent it back, but you can imagine what happened next.
