Bidrage med feedbackService Serving time was fast. The waitress was efficient and courteous without being invasive. Food The food was so so. I'd call it unmemorable among the three of us who dined there yesterday, none of us have any desire to return. (Our order:...sweet and sour pork, beef broccoli, fish tofu, and pork and vegetable friend rice. Ambiance The restaurant was clean, small but not tiny, and fairly lit. It would've been a pleasant experience except for the constant beeping sound emanating from a lit panel on one of the walls. The beeping wasn't loud. However, it was consistent, and sang along with the background music. It had the same effect as an unanswered phone from a caller who just doesn't get tat no one's home. When we asked her about it, the waitress said there was no way to shut it off. Really?!?
The name is Suzhou but it is actually a fusion of Taiwanese and Shanghainese food. A welcome taste in Manila since the Chinese food here is mostly Cantonese. The spicy beef, fried rice, sweet and sour, noodles were good but I was disappointed with their...Xiaolongpao, it could have been better. Shanghai is famous for their Xiaolongpao and this restaurant's main dish is this, but it didn't leave an impression. Just so so. Overall, the food is good really nice to taste something different.
The spicy fried chicken was delicious. Xiao long bao, Pork Vegetable fried rice, and Kuchay Pork dumpling were just OK. Place is very clean.
I have been there twice and made the mistake to order the same element (smart) both paintings! the chicken was really dry and almost bland. even the plastered vegetable side dish could not save it. they do not have much to offer on the menu in comparison. to other similar restaurants. it is also quite expensive. maybe they pay the customers for the Chinese mafia ambiance. the service could move in particular during the midday period at an ice speed.
Your bark is my new favorite! very tasteful but light. xiao long bao, as always, is a joy. hot and acidic suppe was a little too sour, but the chickens hack for the disappointment. I'll go back soon!
