Bidrage med feedbackIf a Japanese restaurant is full of Japanese it is good news, so we went there the place is small and the night was not too hot so we sat at one of the tables outside, almost going in circles. The service, despite being outside, was always very attentive and did not leave a moment that our water glasses were empty. I was lucky enough to try a maguro (tuna) sashimi that was truly spectacular, you could tell that the tuna was fresh and It was melted in the mouth. In addition, I tried a couple of makis: one of tuna with spicy flakes that becomes my favorite California and quite correct. Lastly, a curry that was the weakest of the dinner prices is not too high for the quality and how happy we left the dinner. I will be back.
This is a little Japanese spot that I have come to like! It is owned and run by a Japanese chef who seems to be almost always smiling. The place definitely has a mom and pop's shop appeal. It feels homey. That said it gets pretty packed during lunch and dinner time, so I suggest you book a table before coming here. Not pictured here is the Chef's Special Beef Curry that has been my favorite dish when I dine at Keizo. Out of all the curries I have tried here in Manila, it has the deepest flavor. The beef is also served tender. It has definitely become my comfort food. However, in my recent visit the flavor was different from the one I have grown to love. But since I have had it several times, I have come to terms with myself that maybe that was just a bad batch. I will definitely try and check it out next time. Without my beef curry, I decided to have yet another favorite of mine, Spicy Tuna Salad with flakes. The salad is priced at 400PHP but with all the... read more
Keizo is definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants I have had the pleasure of eating at! Apparently, the owner and chef used to be the head chef at a renowned hotel in the metro. The standards he mustve had back in his head-chef days have carried over to his own restaurant, as the quality of his food is o u t s t a n d i n g! I dont even mind the prices of the food, because i know i am getting what i am paying for. I highly recommend the sashimi! So fresh!
I love the ambiance and the service! Went here with my relatives and some family friends after church and we loved it! Especially the one on the sticks which I forgot the name but it was superb! I wish we could go back to eat dinner again.

Without my beef curry, I decided to have yet another favorite of mine, Spicy Tuna Salad with flakes. The salad is priced at 400PHP but with all the bits of fresh tuna enough to fill you on its own, I say it's worth it. You also have the option of adding more flakes to balance the texture with that of the soft tuna. This salad is definitely worth coming back for. Lastly, as I thought just the salad won't satisfy me, I decided to have one yakitori. It took sometime for it to be made and served. Once it arrived, I was immediately taken by its yummy smell. I opted to get the shio (salt) flavor for my chicken, and every decent-sized portion was delicious! blog.dolldelight.com
