Bidrage med feedbackChe's Lab is a cozy, intimate restaurant with limited seating on the ground floor and a slightly better ambiance on the second level, although there is some echo. The food has consistently been good since my first visit two years ago, although some old favorites like pasta with tuyo have been replaced with new options. The service could use some improvement, as the wait staff seemed unfamiliar with the menu and were not very attentive. However, the standout dish that keeps me coming back is the buko pie martini dessert - a delicious coconut dessert served in a martini glass. The taste is absolutely delightful!
The food at the restaurant is quite good, with the lamb being a standout dish. The chef has incorporated Filipino flavors and new cooking techniques, which I enjoyed. However, the service could be improved. There were occasions where I had to approach the servers to speed up the maintenance and even help myself to some items. It seemed like the waitstaff may have been inexperienced, especially for handling a large family-style party, but that does not excuse the poor service. Overall, the restaurant shows promise but could benefit from better service training.
Che's Lab is a cozy, little restaurant with limited seating on the downstairs level. The upstairs area is slightly better, but has a bit of an echo. I have been coming here for the past 2 years and the food has always been delicious, although they have made some changes to the menu, such as replacing the pasta with tuyo and the pork asado dish. The service could use some improvement, as the wait staff is not very knowledgeable about the menu and can be inattentive. However, the reason I keep coming back is for their buko pie martini dessert, which is served in a martini glass. The taste is just phenomenal!
The restaurant is a fairly new one located in the up-and-coming Global City. the neighborhood is well-known as an upper class environment thus getting a decent line of clientele.the location though is tough when it comes to parking. I have to arrange for my friends a separate vehicle to pick them up and drop off in the restaurant because individual cars would have a hard time getting a parking space (particularly I had the party on a Friday evening)the food though is fairly decent (the lamb in particular) and evidently the chef was playing around with Filipino cuisine and incorporating new spices and cooking methodsService though needs to be improved. in a couple of times, I have to stand up and approached the servers to hasten the servicing and even picked up the wines myself for service. perhaps the waiters were new for a large family-style party but it's no excuse for poor service
