Cav Wine Shop-Cafe - Metro Manila

This restaurant in Manila offers the most amazing food and wine! I make sure to visit every time I am in Manila for business. Whether it's a special occasion or a private event, this is the perfect place to dine. The presentation of the food is beautiful and it tastes even better. I highly recommend trying it out!

The wine at this restaurant is expensive, but it should at least taste good to justify the cost. Unfortunately, the wine we tried here was only average in taste and very overpriced. We would have been better off buying a bottle at the supermarket.

This restaurant offers a well-curated wine selection and a delicious fixed menu for dinner. It is a great spot for a professional business dinner or private event.

I took a small group for a business dinner to the restaurant (a number of foreigners) who tend to be a little picky. We had a table towards the back of the Cafe which I tended to prefer as its quieter. The service was very good, the food was excellent - everyone enjoyed their meal - and the price wasn't totally unreasonable for comparable restaurants. It was not a busy night so I don't know if that helped the service. We also picked the wine we wanted and didn't go with the pairing menu so was not disappointed. We did feel the knowledge of the staff towards wine wasn't the best which was why we picked our own wine. Desert was outstanding. We had a mixture of dishes from seafood to steak and all had good reviews. Would certainly go back. It was a very nice environment.

.We have been to THE CAV twice & on this occasion it was most dissapointing this time. Complimentary anchovy in pastry was nice. That's where it ended!! With wine pairing The Tomahawk meat was cooked poorly & certainly not med/well as requested. One serve needed to be re cooked so on the whole for PHP3200 our money would be better spent elsewhere.
