The Meltdown - Metro Durham/Chapel Hill

Yeah I gotta say, the sandwiches? Pretty swell, however the darndest always happens whenever I get one. The sandwich is always cut with one end being 1/4 of the sandwich and the other half being 3/4. I understand that business can get busy at times but this is unacceptable and just plain RUDE!

Highly disappointed that the place is called The Meltdown, but the cheese on my sandwich was not melted AT ALL. It was actually cold, and like all others have said the sandwich was thrown together. One of my slices of bread was wet, and so I ended up tossing that. The Onion Rings is the only reason for the two stars... they were tasty and at least warm.

Fantastic food! Everything was perfectly crafted! The Meltdown: 10/10. Hittin Snooze Melt: 10/10. Hot N Spicy Melt: 10/10. Giddy Up Melt: 10/10. Hot Mess Melt: 10/10. Treatin Myself Melt: 11/10 (I gave it an extra point for the complimentary dessert… it was absolutely delicious!).

It had great potential! The beef was flavorful, but the sandwich felt a bit hastily assembled. The ingredients were delicious, though the beef could have been chopped more finely. The onion rings were hot and amazing, and the soda was just right.

Delicious food! Always prompt and fresh. I highly recommend ordering from here; they are fantastic!
