Louisiana Purchase Kitchen - Metairie

I been here a long time ago and we decided to bring some out of town family there. They enjoyed it to me it was ok. They baked and fried chicken seemed a little dry, the chicken and sausage gumbo, dirty rice was ok. but I enjoyed the mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese was good. The fried fish was also ok. Everyone taste buds are different so stop in a give them a try.

First time here in awhile, won't be my last! Louisiana Purchase Kitchen is a hidden gem. Kid friendly, reasonable buffet, food was good, waitress was very attentive. Good for a quick lunch. There is no complaints. ?

This is an excellent little “southern style” buffet not far off I-10 interstate on Veterans. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The dining area is small, but fortunately there wasn’t a crowd when we visited. There was a variety of foods to choose from including fish, chicken, and southern sides. Very affordable and highly recommend.

The food is absolutely amazing! The entire restaurant is quaint and adorable; we were incredibly impressed. Staff was very friendly. Entire place was clean; even the bathrooms sparkled!
