I love this place and the people that works there great eatery.

Decent food, had better gumbo and jambalaya before though. Seating a little too tight given the quality of food, would have expected the seating and ambiance compensate a lil. Service is good, watch out for that guy in the front(could be a lil “upset” at times).

Just landed in New Orleans, got to the hotel, and wanted to make my first dish gumbo! After some research I came across Chef Ron's Gumbo Stop. They mention award winning gumbo, and I will tell you I can see why! Even though the restaurant is a little hole in the wall place…the food is great! This place serves delicous food. I had crawfish etouffe with fried catfish. My hub had Mumbo Gumbo. We ordered the boutin. All was great!
