Carreta's Grill - Metairie

Everything we ordered was fantastic. The cheese was especially delightful. We tried five entrées and had a few special requests, and they accommodated all of them except for one. It wasn’t a major issue, though.

Carretas is simply the best! It has been one of my favorite restaurants for over 10 years, and it has only improved with time. I enjoy everything with their shredded chicken, as well as the Choriqueso and Carretas Cheese Dip! They also serve the best salsa!

The tortilla soup didn't meet my expectations. It tasted more like a cup of crawfish boil broth than an actual soup.

Had the chicken fajitas. no seasoning and chicken was dry... the rest of the meal was great.

First time ordering takeout from here. I must say it was phenomenal. Nice size portions, showed up piping hot and tasted great. This is a must try!!!
