Sabores Boricuas - Mesquite

As a New Yorker living in Texas, you crave what was available to you when you were growing up. They didn't disappoint me at all. I had the beef stew and the rice and peas, with a side of tostones. Oh my life is so good!!! I can't wait to go back!!!

Excellent Puerto Rican food spot in Mesquite, Texas. We had to wait an hour for food to be ready but it was well worth it. I had the Carne Frita with Rice and Beans, and my wife Mofongo Relleno de Camarones. Both really tasty and skillfully made. Prices are ok, and the place although far away from our house, was accessible and easy to find. Our only negative comment is they don't have cups of water to serve patrons and only offer bottles for purchase. Will definitely order over the phone the next time we visit. Try the Guineitos en Escabeche as app.

Excellent food and service! The food was delicious reminded me of grandma's cooking. Savory not spicy hot. Dessert was yummy. Will return, not fast food, done when you order well worth the wait!
