Ihop - Mesquite

This restaurant was extremely dirty. I only gave it one star because the food looked appetizing. Everywhere I looked, there was grime and the cabinets were covered in a layer of dust from being neglected. The walls and shelves looked as if they had never been cleaned since the restaurant opened.

I placed an online order at this restaurant and when I arrived, I noticed multiple employees arguing about table assignments. I went up to ask about my order and was told to wait until they sorted out the table situation. Jason then accused me of being rude and refused to provide his name for me to report his behavior to the company. He also claimed that I had an attitude. This kind of treatment is unacceptable towards customers.

IHOP is always bustling, especially on weekends, but you can never go wrong with their food. I decided to order online this time, which was a quicker and more convenient option. I was amazed to see that even their containers had been redesigned to keep the pancakes separate and the tops could double as plates, preventing any spills. I love the attention to detail, great job IHOP! As for child friendliness, they have a variety of options that kids will love, especially the smiling face pancake waffles.
