La Cabane a Huitres - Mesquer

Went to this nice place with a big group of friends with children. It was for sure the best place that I ever been for moules frites. And for those not being a big fan of it, the restaurant offers as well a good variety of others dishes. Definitely a place to go if you are in this part of Brittany.

Light and friendly atmosphere. near the beach. A good place for lunch on way to the beach. Child friendly. The food is good, fresh seafood. Nothing fancy but very good.

Small, bistro style restaurant. Limited menu. Three of us had moules aux curry which were correctly priced with a devine sauce. Other members of our party had the steak and the fish and chips which although were very well cooked we considered to be a little expensive. If we were in the area again and fancied mussels we would definitely go again but would seek an alternative venue if we were looking for a more extensive menu offering more reasonable prices.

Great food, amazing service. The outsude area can get quite cold, but the restaurant provide blankets. We will be back one day.

La cabane a huitres is a relaxed bistro style restaurant serving a limited menu but with style. very good atmosphere, the restaurant is run by a young couple with a small staff but they offer good fresh food, well presented. we ate there twice during our visit and it was the best food we had. having said that, food generally has gone down in france and it is quite hard to find anywhere that is serving decent food. try this place and your faith will be restored!
