Bidrage med feedbackWe experienced a Ok lunch at Restaurante Migas. It is located downstairs of the D+ cafetaria. The name of the restaurant is also the name of the speciality of the house, Migas which is a bread pudding with vegtables. It centainly was the best Migas we ever tasted. Other dishes where ok but nothing special. Good prices and nice river view.
We were trying to find a place to eat lunch after hours (3pm) and this was the only place that had us. We had fresh cheese which was wonderful and asked to share the very typical sopa de cação and it was absolutely splendid. We loved it it 's definitely a must try.
Very nice place to sit inside and beautiful view from esplanade. Bochechas de porco are amazing as well as the bacalhau. Service was quite slow... one waiter for a lot of tables.
I think this was the hotel we were told to go to by the woman who owned the hotel, The Migas which was a local delicacy was according to some friends who had it was horrible, my food was ok but nothing special, out of a group of 14 of us most did not have a good meal.
Central localization in Mertola, with a very good relation price quality of food, with typical food of Alentejo (Migas). Friendly service but a little slow. Clean and rustic restaurant.
