The Shed - Merry Hill

The restaurant has an updated menu with fantastic specials. The atmosphere is relaxed, clean, and comfortable. You can even dock your boat and walk right in! This place is family-friendly.

I cannot praise Occano/Scotch Hall enough! We traveled there from Raleigh, NC and were thoroughly impressed. The golf course was exceptional, with stunning views. The inn was amazing, the food and drinks were fantastic, but the highlight was definitely the staff. Chad, Charlene, and the rest of the team treated us like royalty. They even went above and beyond to retrieve a range finder we had left behind on a cart from another course. They also generously offered to sponsor a team for a golf tournament we were hosting for a special needs son. Their service made us feel like VIPs. Don't hesitate to book with them, you won't regret it! We will definitely be returning.

Our experience at the cottages and the Inn at Occano was fantastic. We stayed in the Chowan cottages, which were very comfortable and convenient for our large group. The room at the Inn was also very nice and comfortable. The golf course was exceptional, with the best layout in eastern North Carolina. Hole 17 is undeniably the most beautiful hole in the state. The greens were in great condition and it was clear that improvements had been made to the bunkers and certain areas had fresh sod.

Rooms at the Inn are beautiful with a large open space in the middle for watching TV, meals and playing cards....located on one of the most breathtaking pieces of property in North Carolina...great Arnold Palmer golf course with views of the Albemarle Sound and great stargazing at night...wonderful get away location, , ,

We rented a villa three nights and two rounds of golf. Everyone enjoyed the house--very clean with a big kitchen and roomy back porch overlooking the course. We also had a great time at the bar/restaurant where the staff was super nice! Will definitely be back!
