Luna Caprese - Merrimack

Wow, this restaurant serves seriously authentic Italian dishes that are prepared with care by a skilled chef. It is a local, family-run establishment that never fails to impress with its delicious flavors.

I used to go to this place when it was Ya Mamma's I decided to give it a try. I ordered 2 soups (minestrone and pasta e fagioli). They were the worst soups I have ever received at a restaurant. As you can see by the photo, really just a bunch of pasta with frozen vegetables. No broth, just a very small amount of watery tomato sauce at the bottom of the containers. Horrible definitely not what I expected. I reached out to Luna Caprese. Their response was basically in the winter and due to escalating food costs, this is how they prepare their soups. A can of soup from the grocery store would have been better than what I received at this restaurant.

The restaurant should be careful who drives their company vehicle. trick or treating with my daughter and a group of her friends. a fast driving pickup truck with the Luna Caprese logo on the side zoomed through our quiet neighborhood and almost hit the kids. The older male driver responded by flashing his lights, waving his arms and yelling out the window for everyone to get out of his way. he then accelerated rapidly until he got to the next group of children and did the same thing. I read some negative reviews and saw the restaurants' responses. not a good look! (I have video of the vehicle, Luna Caprese logo, driver and license plate if the restaurant would like to contact me neighbor has an outdoor security camera

This is a genuine Italian dining experience. Antonio is beyond helpful, he truly goes above and beyond. His attentiveness to the customer is arguably the best part of the experience, but obviously the food is the wonderful gem upon the crown that is Luna Caprese.

I left the restaurant. what a pleasure. the food was very good, but even better were the owner and his daughter. they were very friendly and we had a great chat. this place is charming, welcoming and above all has delicious food. especially the canoli! thank you again.
