Olive Garden Italian - Merrillville

Olive Garden is a franchise that consistently delivers great dining experiences, earning a solid 5 stars no matter what you order. We had a party of nine and only had to wait about 10 minutes, which is quite impressive. Our waitress was fantastic and very friendly. We will definitely be back for another visit!

We arrived on Thursday night after 7:30 PM and were told there would be a 20-minute wait. A large part of the dining area had only a few diners, yet we were seated in a bustling section that was quite full. When we inquired about handicap accessibility, we received an unexpected response from the hostess. Another staff member overheard the conversation and reported it to management. However, the management handled the situation professionally. Our server was excellent, and the food was abundant and well-prepared. The dining room was quite noisy, as we were surrounded by families with small children and babies. Despite the initial issues, the interactions with the staff were positive. I even made sure to inform the manager how fantastic our server was.

We had a brief wait before enjoying drinks at our table, and everything went smoothly from there! I might have ordered more than I could handle, but the food was hot and delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. Overall, it was a great time!

The waitress was new and still very knowledgeable in the menu. super fast refilling our drinks and so very beautiful. the restaurant was clean with a broken toilet. but they have set up a warning that I want to make a picture. the people have actually stopped and commented on how it was broken, but still looked decorated. I feel like it was framed with a cone on the actual pottery that it had a funny story behind it. more than one person who fucked on it. only reason for the lack of a star is the Alfredo sauce was really watery, but it tasted great and warmed up really good at home. it was the end of the evening on a Saturday night, so you know that life is happening. but what I really impressed is that they were busy with personal. that shows that the manager cares and worked hard to bring people when other restaurants in the opposite are still only seated part of the restaurant because they are not occupied. we are really fast and the night was a victorious many thanks to olive garden that they returned to their pre-vid service and food standard. it was nice to have a lot of service and good food after a long day.

Went to dinner last night the waitress was super nice . I have no complaints about her . I was however upset that the food took forever to come out . We were there for almost 2.5 hours and they were not busy . I asked a few times what’s up with the the food and she said any min a couple times . When the food came out it was a super small portion almost like a lunch special. I was disappointed but at least I had plenty of time to each like 5 salads .
