This is the third time that I have taken a group to this restaurant for lunch. the service is excellent and the eating excellent. I really can't blame anything and I'll be back in any case. communication is also excellent.

Typical french midday place, but a section over most of them. for 14,50 € one starts no choice) a main court choice of two) cheese from a cheese board six or seven cheeses, one desserts several choices) coffee and a karaffe of the...local weins. the meal is well balanced, well cooked and presented. monsieur is the chief and madame in front of the house and serve. we would go back any time. remember that the daymenu is limited in the choice and not for vegetarians

This is a nice restaurant in a small village near Jarnac. We were happy to find this place open for business in August and seeing locals as well as other tourists having lunch there comforted us in our choice. Good simple food. Home cooking as...we say in the US. In addition a good simple house wine is included with the 4 course meal. Overall great experience of local flavors at a great price. What else does one need?

We eat here regularly and it is always a very good experience. The food is typical French country cooking, there is a set 3 course menu each day for 12.50 euros including wine. You can order extras if you wish but the meal is very...filling anyway. The service is done by the chef's wife and owner, always absolutely delightful and efficient. The food is well presented and always good. this reallly is our favourite restaurant in France.

Excellent family restaurant serving lunch real excellent provincial French home cuisine feel. Generally choose menu du jour it is as likely to be steak as mussels or snails if not to your taste, there are other options. With house wine thrown in...very reasonably priced. Closed Mondays
