Broken Yolk Cafe - Meridian

The service was extremely slow and the waitress wasn't friendly. Our party of 3 waited 45 minutes for our salads and a burger. The restaurant was mostly empty at the time. We had to request our checks and wait until our waitress finally got around to bringing the checks. Then another wait for her to bring us a box. I've been anxious to try this restaurant, and was very disappointed.

Always forget the gravy and completely drenched in grease

Steve and Anne have an awesome local North Meridian restaurant which also has a great team of associates, great food, great 5 Star service and a great atmosphere. I ordered food to go – two eggs and a biscuit. The lady asked if I wanted bacon or sausage and I said it didn’t come with that and she said it did so I said bacon. Then she tried to charge me five dollars for bacon. She couldn’t figure out how to avoid the transaction, and now I’m stuck dealing with my credit card. When I finally got my food, the biscuit was cold; picture below. With so many great choices, I’d recommend finding a different one. The food, nor the service are worth the effort.
