Rincon Criollo - Meriden

We visited the Meriden location for the first time, as we usually go to the one in Waterbury. This restaurant is very clean and well-maintained. The food was excellent, and both the cook and the young man at the register provided great service. We will definitely be coming back!

The food is absolutely amazing. Cooked over real coal, the meats were so tasteful. Large, clean restaurant with a large buffet and then the barbecue grilled meat option. The first time and we will be regular. You pay by weight, which is ingenious, you get as much or as little as you want and there are tons of choice.

We enjoyed a very satisfying dinner. This is a good alternative if you enjoy traditional Brazilian style restaurants. The secondary dishes and salads are presented on a help themselves buffet. There is a wide range of meat available behind the counter. Plates are weighed, so you only pay for what you take. The staff is super pleasant and very sweet. This is definitely a great choice for casual food!

The atmosphere is lovely and the staff is incredibly friendly, creating a wonderful vibe. I will definitely return. Most importantly, the food was outstanding, especially the brisket, which I absolutely loved. Be sure to go and enjoy some delicious gum— I certainly did!

The buffet is delicious, offering both a pay-by-weight option and an all-you-can-eat choice. The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced.
