Bidrage med feedbackWe have recently enjoyed breakfast, while my husband participated in a conference. the omelets were to order, amazing fresh fruits, yogurt, cheese empanadas, sorted cheese, breakfast meat, baked, chalk soou many possibilities! the coffee was wonderful. server were attentive and inconspicuous.
As usual, Peregrina provides great food with excellent service. great selection of oriented and excellent ambiente. best Sunday brunch in the city by far!
I have visited this restaurant often and reviewed the lunch buffet several times. My first time and breakfast and I will return. If Merida has a better offering for breakfast, I have not found it. A really wide choice of the standard breakfast items plus...several Yucatan specialties not commonly found at breakfast. A great Yogurt are with so many additional ingredients that I had little room for yogurt. Also much honey available. A wide selection of fresh fruit juices and , as always, delicious breads. I was not really planning to eat dessert with breakfast, but who could resist . As always, outstanding waiter service. I don't usually expect this high level of service at a buffet but they are always on hand to serve. Highly recommended.
We loved Merida and this buffet was the frosting on the cake. We are usually leery of hotel bufets but we know Hyatt is top shelf, and it showed again. The location is in a very upscale part of Merida not very close to the...wonderful Plaza grande but a nice walk anyway. Each day they have a diferent theme for the lunch buffet. There is also a breakfast buffet but I do not know if it is themed. Lunch runs from noon till 5PM so go late and have an early dinner! Vallet parking is free. They even have a very nice room on the side for kids to play while parents finish a lovely meal. And lovely it is! Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. We paid 180 pesos each which is a great deal compared to the centro restaurants where the average main course alone is 115. The service (yes-at a buffet) was excellent too. By the time we discovered this place we were starving for vegetables and we had a weeks worth of them there, all wonderfully prepared.Actually everything was wonderfully prepared. Gosh, they even had pasta putinesca well prepared, which I love but can rarely find in any restaurant. We WILL return!
