Del Gobernador - Mérida

Delicious food, very good service. Nice surroundings. Looks like it might be a bit touristy I was there when it was quiet and as I left a bus with about 50 people descended on the place. Recommended. Rica comida, buen servicio, buen ambiente. Muy recomendado

We ate here last night. Food was fantastic and the staff did an excellent job. Highly recommend. Clean and attractive atmosphere as well. Huge dinner for 2 with drinks 665mx.

Our first visit to the restaurant since it opened over a year ago and we were not disappointed. Living in Merida we are well acquainted with the lovely cuisine of the Yucatan and were pleasantly surprised with the overall quality and taste of our meal. I had the pok chuc, thin slices of marinated pork, grilled, served with black beans, pickled red onions, avacado and fresh tortillas. Excellent flavor and really, enough for two. My partner had the pollo bibil, half a chicken marinated in achioti and slow baked to tender perfection, again with numerous sides. presentation was lovely, atmosphere welcoming and located in a nice historic mansion with a very nice courtyard. Prices are very good for the quality and quantity, service was friendly and efficient.

After a hot morning in Merida we were relieved to be in air conditioning. The servers were very helpful and attentive. The food made the visit even more enjoyable. I had a dish with some type of almond sauce. It was amazing. My husband thought his quest relleno was excellent. It is only a couple of blocks off the main centroid square.
