Maison Basilic -  Mercier,

I spent $44 on three servings of garlic spare ribs and was extremely disappointed. I received only about one and a half portions, and it was mostly sauce. To make matters worse, many of the rib bones were broken into tiny pieces, which made eating quite uncomfortable. I attempted to be polite to the owner, but this is the service I received. I will not be returning. It's disheartening to see that the restaurant appears to be falling apart, and it’s clear that the owner doesn’t know how to properly care for customers. I'm genuinely angry about the experience, especially considering I didn’t even get a fortune cookie. I highly recommend choosing Maison Liang instead.

We visited this restaurant for dinner on Monday night and ordered the #7 for three people. The soup and egg rolls were tasty, but when the main dish arrived, we were surprised to find that the three small plates placed on the table seemed more like a portion for one person. To our dismay, that was actually the entirety of the meal for all three of us! The #7 for two cost $37, with an additional $16 for the third person, bringing the total to $53, not including tax. That’s far too much money for such a small amount of food. We won’t be returning!

I ordered the broccoli beef, and given the price, I expected a larger serving of beef, especially since it was a very good General Tso's dish.

Oh but what a disappointment! Extra expensive price Chicken Fried Rice Without Chicken Broccoli beef with 5 pieces of beef Chicken cashews lots of cabbage little chicken Won tong ben soup with dough, little stuffing and bland broth Spire rids a real joke, the ribs were floating in the sauce, I thought it was a soup because there wasn't any The sauces are for 1 person Soo guy chicken very good Egg Groll faithful to all Chinese surely frozen Unfortunately, I do not recommend this restaurant.
