Foot Of The Mountain - Mercersburg

I can't believe I've passed by this restaurant for nearly 20 years and have finally decided to stop in. The food was served incredibly quickly, even though the place was busy. It's a cozy spot with a limited menu, but a smaller menu often means higher quality. This was definitely true today. There are a few wildlife feeders outside the large windows where you dine, which is a lovely added touch. The staff was super friendly as well.

I pass by this place every day on my way to work, and it looks like a restaurant.

I was quite impressed with both the food quality and the service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Small older diner right along Route 16 west of Mercersburg. Good food. Large portions. Friendly waitress. Has tables and booths. Customer restrooms. Parking lot.

This place checks all the boxes, right off the road, easy access parking. The staff here is super nice friendly, it's literally at the base of the mountain, I'd imagine it's absolutely gorgeous here during the spring, it's so pretty in the winter time.I came for the breakfast and it was awesome, if you like scrapple I highly recommend it.Everything is reasonably priced here and the quality of the food is awesome
