Bidrage med feedbackWe enjoyed dinner 2 times during our week in Mercer. Being open on Monday was the first draw for us. Our dinner that night was very good. My filet was tender and done well and my husband's ribs were fall off the bone tender. We returned for our last night in Mercer and his rib eye was awesome and I recommend the Walleye. I ordered it pan fried and it was fantastic.
My husband and I had company for the weekend and wanted to take them someplace nice to eat. We had never been here before and the reviews looked good. We arrived at about 7:15pm and was promptly seated. We were done looking at the menus when the waitress came to take our drink orders never inquiring if we were ready to order. It took the waitress about 15 minutes to get 4 drinks, none alcoholic). She left the drinks and left again never inquiring if we were ready toorder. By the time we ordered we had been there approximately 40-45 minutes. I had to inquire if we were getting our soup before our meal, it took that long. Finally our soup arrives, we are done eating our soup and it took another 15-20minutes to get our meal. My steak was wrong but everything else was good. The waitress never ask if we would like refills on drinks. I asked to speak with the manager who came to our table. I explained everything and she stated she neededto go to the person above her. That person never came out just told her give them a discount. I must add there were only 4 tables occupied. For the price you pay there 4 people $145.00 for nothing out of the ordinary) they were extremelyslow and the waitress tried to make up excuses. I would not recommend unless you have at least half a day to waist.
Rooms are cute and very clean, towels were great. Could use an upgraded tv and would have liked queens instead of doubles. Loved having the furniture outside to sit and visit. Was able to check in early after calling ahead. Definitely would recommend! Rooms: 4 Service: 3 Location: 3

After staying at the Cranberry Inn many times over the years, we will never feel comfortable staying there again. We stayed at their new cabins in July, and it was a nightmare dealing with their property manager, Mike. Completely awful. The rooms are always beautiful. The nicest place to stay in Mercer. We've been vacationing in Mercer for over 20 years. But after calling, and emailing both of their companies The Waters of Minocqua is their sister company and never getting a reply to either my emails, or my phone call and message I left with Guest Services, we just will never feel comfortable staying there again. All we wanted to do was change the card we were going to pay with, so they wouldn't charge the card on file when we made the reservation... after 5 phone calls and one in person interaction with Mike, him telling us he didn't have time for this right now, him swearing in front of me and my two kids out of anger, acting completely bothered by us asking for help, and then him literally threatening my husband when he told Mike how awful it had been dealing with him the past week... it's basically the worst customer service experience you could imagine. I hope everyone else has been getting good customer service since our stay because of our complaints to the management. They didn't help us or even acknowledge us. But I guess if they fixed the Mike situation for future guests, that's the silver lining. We won't hand them a dime of our money again, but they don't seem to care anyways. We'll be staying elsewhere in Mercer from now on.
