Lydford & Co. - Mentone

The food at this restaurant is incredible and the cocktails are excellent. A few weeks ago, we stopped in for a drink and loved the smoking area, the friendly staff, and the overall atmosphere. We also ordered takeout from Big Kahuna Burger and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and a great deal for the price. We got burgers, fries, and fried chicken, and my American partner even said it tasted like home.

Visited this restaurant for a birthday celebration and was pleasantly surprised by the tasty canapes. The pricing was reasonable for the quality of the food. The atmosphere was enjoyable, with great music and a friendly staff. I highly recommend this place!

I visited this restaurant for the first time on Thursday at 5pm to celebrate my wife's birthday. I have been to this location before under different ownership and we had a wonderful experience. The owner, Ryan, was very hospitable and took the time to go through the entire menu with us. They offer a selection of beers on tap that I had never tried before, so it was nice to do a quick tasting before deciding on the Stone Wood from Byron Bay. The food was delicious, including grass-fed wagyu cheeseburger sliders, southern chicken ribs with a hot sauce, house-made dill pickle, and beer-battered chips with sea salt aioli. We paired our meal with a Mount Vernon Sav Blanc. Arriving early allowed us to choose comfortable seating around low tables inside. Overall, we had a great time and found the prices to be very reasonable. We definitely plan on returning in the future.

I love this place! The food selection is great, perfect for a catch up with friends, the ocean trout ceviche is my favourite! Staff are lovely, and location is great!

I had some friends visiting from out of town and needed to show them a good night out. We chose Lydford Co and we definitely made the right choice. Wicked beer selection. Started off with a dos blokos ' the rent ' golden ale followed by a can of mornington IPA for food we had so much food I can 't remember all of it but I definitely remember the fried chicken and aioli that was awesome. Mini burgers killed it and the construct your own softshell crab buns were sensational. Haven 't had much of a chance to hit them up during the week for their specials but they seem like a goer. Definitely a great new local hangout in Mentone. #first<br/
