Best food in Mentone. It’s southern, it’s different, it’s fresh, it’s filling. Can’t go wrong with the burgers, but if you catch her on a night when she’s frying fish you won’t be disappointed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing food, amazing service. Me and my two sons visited mentone today for the first time. We stopped here to get dinner after leaving Desoto falls. I had some cash and my card. I felt terrible i didnt have enough cash so I was gonna get two sweet teas and head down the mountain. These ladies insisted that we get the food we were gonna order I gave her the cash I had and she said pay it forward . My boys are 7 and soon to be 12 yr old. They got the chicken casserole mash potatoes, okra and black eyed peas. They loved every bit of it. Home cooked, delicious and truly made with love. We also got to enjoy the company of Echo while we ate, her sweet dog. Thank you ladies so much and we will be back to visit and we will be posting pics of our tasty experience. The food was great and it’s a really nice place to visit. Vegetarian options: I had the black bean burger and it was better than most beef burgers I’ve ever had. Parking: Plenty of parking. If the parking lot happened to be full, it looks like there plenty of places to park behind the restaurant.
