Initially we were shocked by how bad the restaurant smelled when we walked in, like mold and mildew mixed in with old food smells, we should have left but noticed others in restaurant so we stayed. HUGE MISTAKE!! Appetizer of crab ragoon was disgusting, lots of dough and grease and a horrible filling. Ate only two out of 6. Egg foo young tasteless basically pieces of dried out chicken and eggs made into a flat pancake with no bean sprouts or green onions and tasteless runny gravy. My friends shrimp hong sue was very tasteless with a sauce that looked and tasted like a paste made of flour. $60.00 worth of garbage. Service was fair, we waited a long time for our food. This place is not worth a second chance.
Love Harvey Moys ! Still the best egg rolls in the country. The nicest friendliest people also.
Carry out order very bland. “Veggies” were green peppers and nothing more.
For my dad's birthday we told him to pick any restaurant and we'd do dinner on us. He picked this place. He hadn't been here in decades and as a kid frequently went with his dad so he was very excited to go. Chinese food is always hit or miss so I wasn't sure what to expect. Well I was pleasantly surprised, the food was fresh, which was the best surprise, everything was hot and perfectly cooked. Our waitress was very nice and (I believe he was the owner) came out of the kitchen and asked how our meal was. He was also very kind. I'm having the leftovers for lunch today and I'd definitely come here again. It's a little more expensive than other Chinese places but given the food is fresh in my opinion it's worth it.
I dont see the rave about this place.Rangoons are not very good and Sweet Sour Chicken not impressed..Good
