Bidrage med feedbackThe kaiseki dinner (which would be the only reason to come into this restaurant) is traditional, with many courses that make the various methods of cooking. The presentation is refined and very suitable for cooking style. Do not expect bold flavors or flavors as this is traditional Japanese cuisine, and the flavors are more subtle.
Had the Kaiseki meal and everything was done very artistically and tastefully. I had the Early Summer 07 menu that turns about every 6 weeks to another menu to keep things fresh and interesting. The Sake zuki was excellent, especially the Flounder marined in Kelp with caviar. The Agemono was as I expected sea bass (even if it was Japanese lake bass) a smoother texture than the one we had. The Sashimi range, grilled dish and dessert were fantastic, however, so the overall experience was very rewarding. Very expensive (at $97/person) but worth a try!
I had her prefix menu and it made food an art form. It was a mixture of different textures and aromas. The Sashimi course was my favorite. I've never had that before. Everything was beautiful and well presented. Definitely worth the money.
