The Mudd Room - Mendota

Have loved this place until tonight. The singer(Tim Howe) stood and visited with friends until 5 minutes past his scheduled starting time. Then when he got on stage he spent most of his first half hour fiddling with his guitar and sound equipment. He could have been doing that before his show was supposed to start. He needs to be replaced on the schedule. He also was very under dressed . We have always considered this an upscale place, but this guy looked like he just got out of his garbage truck and walked in. He ruinded the image of a wonderful venue.

Wow, so glad we picked this place. Our first speakeasy. The ambiance is amazing. There was a live musician. We had amazing cocktails and a fondue plate that was super good. Great date spot! The door is on the north side (left as you walk up) of Lucky restaurant. They had a phone you can pick up to hear a prerecorded message. Pretty neat. Then you walk down the dimly lit stairs into a very intimate space with stone walls and nice seating. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Such a cool place! Would recommend to anyone. Great drinks and great food! Love the fact that they have live music at times.

Really fun place to stumble upon for drinks one night. There was a beautiful jazz singer that night. Definitely worth a stop! Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly Parking: Not a lot of spaces.
