Peking Palace - Mendip

Beautiful little Chinese. eating from here tastes great and the portions are of a good size. the food is cooked freshly and very efficiently, they often add a small surprise to us like additional spring rolls. their set menus are very good, especially vegetarian, more than enough to feed 3 people. highly recommended

Lovely food and really nice kind owner. Would be great if you could add some vegan food to the menu, would help as Glastonbury is quite vegan friendly and I know a few Chinese restaurants in the area a do this. Other than that it was nice and not overly expensive.

During the viewing of glastonbury, many restaurants were closed on Monday/Tuesday, the peking palace was the only Chinese place. they did not have a website/online menu so did not know what was there, but called and managed to put an order. the owner had not amazing English so was not very easy, but he was very accommodating. Eating was extremely fast, they only accept cash that I found out when I'm back, like no online presence again. eating was extremely large portions and very tasty, not too sweet or artificial. cook a menu brochure with my order to house and would have liked to know the menu before order, as I definitely see the look of some of the items that they do not see on typical almost food Chinese menus. just a scandal I couldn't find online.

Amazing eating! highly recommended. despite the limited English, the beautiful couple that run it, work very hard to create great quality, eat affordable Chinese removal. a local gem!
