Evercreech Plaice - Mendip

Proper chips! Cut properly and cooked to perfection. The right amount of salt and vinegar as well. Had some curry sauce with mine, scrummy. Have recently moved locally so will be visiting again and will try some of the other things on the menu.

We were staying in the area and had fish and chips on a busy Saturday evening, the little place was so busy. This fish was excellent and we so enjoyed them that we returned on our last night. Maybe next time I will try a homemade curry as they also do several Indian and Chinese options. Great place.

They do a good variety of food for a small chippy, all tastes great. The owners are really friendly.

There are several excellent fish and chip shops in the area and it's difficult to say which is best really. But if you are in Evercreech then I can recommend the Evercreech Plaice. Top quality food and does more than just fish and chips.
