Abbey Tea Rooms Licensed - Mendip

I cannot recommend this wonderful find, enough; there was nothing I'd change. Everything was 10/10: • food made as you wait; fresh, local produce; no change seen as an inconvenient • service friendly; informative and cheerful I would go back in a heartbeat am already looking forward to working my way through the Specials!

After a disappointing visit earlier this year we decided to visit again. This time the staff knew what they were doing and were very helpful. We had toasted sandwiches they were ok, but not very filling. My husband had cheese and tomato but is was lacking tomatoes. Lovely coffee.

Lovely welcoming quaint old fashioned tea room/restaurant. Opposite the car park in front of the 'Olde Abbey ruins '. Good few tables inside. Waitress and waiter serve with a smile. Very good menu, Breakfast served from 10am, lunches and cream teas. Open 9- 5pm

My mother and I had lunch here yesterday. really great, good-hearted home cooked food. beautiful lady who served us. it's busy whatever a good sign. they would be highly recommended! will definitely go back.
