Bidrage med feedbackI am from the city and found this restaurant through open table. it was good, nothing special. a little harsh atmosphere. our server seemed scattered and busy, although there were only four tabs. with so many places to try, nothing was out to make me back. we have never recognized our special reputation.
Eating was fair, but not the value of what we paid for it. as a special occasion I had hoped to see a little more hospitality from the personal. my escape (hallibut) was tasteless lack of imagination (and salt). the wee was good, but too expensive. we will probably not be back.
I wouldn't say they are "understanding." If they’re charging $75 for a dining experience that doesn’t include alcohol, you'd expect them to ensure that the two tiny lamb skewers aren't overcooked and that the halibut—bland and heavy—comes with pasta that isn’t cold, dry, and obviously reheated (I wouldn't even feed it to my cat). You would also think that the waiter could manage to bring out dessert before the bill. To top it off, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill for our second party. It turned out to be a nightmare for a Valentine’s dinner. I would recommend staying away.
The restaurant seen online for Valentine's Day, not advertising for a Valentine's menu, came in and they don't have regular menu options, their online menu says they have 20% of the satisfaction on parties of 6 and more. I had a date and the 20% self-costs were automatically added to our bill. we paid $200 for strawberry and spinach, bark and Brussels spits and a piece of cheesecake.
The food and service were excellent! I can't wait for the new location on Poplar.
